The Lakes Aquarium

The Lakes Aquarium is located at the southern end of Lake Windermere. It is one of the docking points for the Windermere Lake Cruises and easily accessible from both Ambleside and Bowness. Blackwell - the Arts & Crafts House

Why not spend a day exploring one of Britain's finest houses? The World of Beatrix Potter

The World of Beatrix Potter is the only Beatrix Potter themed attraction in Europe. Here you can meet the many characters from the famous books, written here in the heart of the Lake District. From Peter Rabbit to Miss Tiggywinkle, Jemima Puddle-duck to Mr Todd, the attraction includes all 23 tales by Beatrix Potter, where the characters are brought to life in a wonderful indoor recreation of the Lake District landscape.
